You own the logos you create with Favycons.
We may ask you for your permission to use your logos for promotional purposes, but you are not required to grant it.

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and 16protons Ltd ("Company", “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the website and any related services (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

We are registered in England with our registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, 3rd Floor, London, EC2A 4NE. Our VAT number is GB180288303.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site, its content, functionality, software, designs, and trademarks are owned or licensed by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited license to access and use the Site for personal and commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

2.1 Ownership of Generated Logos

Any logos, designs, icons, or other visual assets you create using our tools (“Generated Logos”) are owned by you.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and commercially exploit your Generated Logos for any purpose.

We do not claim any ownership rights in the logos you generate.

3. USER REPRESENTATIONS

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

All registration information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
You will maintain and update such information.
You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
You are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if a minor).
You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
Your use will not violate any applicable laws.

4. USER REGISTRATION

You may need to register an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

5. FEES AND PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other payment methods.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorise us to charge your payment method.
Prices may change. All payments are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax will be added where required.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time (see section 6).

6. CANCELLATION

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account or contacting us at . Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. SOFTWARE

Any software provided is licensed under these Terms (or an accompanying EULA). It is provided “as is”.

8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not:

Systematically scrape or copy content.
Use the Site for illegal purposes.
Circumvent security features.
Upload viruses or harmful code.
Harass users or staff.
Attempt to reverse-engineer the Site (except as permitted by law).

9. USER GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS

We may allow you to submit content. You are responsible for your contributions.

10. CONTRIBUTION LICENSE

Special rule for Generated Logos:
You retain full ownership of all Generated Logos you create. We only receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, store, display, and process them solely as needed to operate and improve the Service.

For any other content or feedback you submit (not Generated Logos), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute it.

11. SUBMISSIONS

Any suggestions or feedback you provide become our property. We may use them without compensation.

12. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND CONTENT

We are not responsible for third-party sites or content linked from the Site.

13. U.S. GOVERNMENT RIGHTS

Our services are “commercial items” under applicable U.S. regulations.

14. SITE MANAGEMENT

We reserve the right to monitor, remove content, or suspend accounts for violations.

15. PRIVACY POLICY

Your use is also governed by our . The Site is hosted in the United Kingdom.

16. TERM AND TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations. You remain bound by obligations that survive termination.

17. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS

We may modify or discontinue the Site at any time without liability.

18. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

19.2 Binding Arbitration

Any unresolved disputes will be resolved by arbitration in London under the rules of the European Court of Arbitration (English language).

The Site is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

22. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six (6) months prior to the claim.

23. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.

24. USER DATA

You are responsible for your data. We perform routine backups but are not liable for data loss.

25. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

You consent to receive electronic communications from us.

26. CALIFORNIA USERS AND RESIDENTS

You may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs for complaint assistance.

27. MISCELLANEOUS

These Terms constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
