Troubleshooting

Export Fails

• Try again after a refresh.
• If your design uses a font, try a different font (font loading/outlining can fail on edge cases).

Download Doesn’t Appear

• Check your browser’s downloads list.
• Disable “Ask where to save each file” temporarily if downloads are being blocked.

Favicon Doesn’t Update

Browsers cache favicons aggressively.

Try:

1. Hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R / ⌘Shift+R
2. Private window
3. Cache-busting: favicon.svg?v=2

Font Looks Wrong

• If changing the font has no effect, the font likely didn’t load and the browser is using a fallback.
• Try another font or refresh.

“Free plan limit reached”

The free plan allows up to 5 saved designs. Delete an older design or upgrade.

Sharing Link Shows Defaults

If iconconfig is invalid, Favycons loads defaults and shows a warning.
